PARK’s Third Emerging Artist and Designer Forum 2015

Nonprofit fashion and arts organization, PARK (Promoting Artists, Redefining Kulture) will host the third Emerging Artist and Designer Forum in Calgary on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2015. This weekend conference in partnership with Olds College Calgary Campus and Victoria Park BRZ brings together some of Alberta’s most highprofile fashion designers and artists to discuss the challenges and opportunities of being a professional creative working in the Alberta market.

“The forum is designed to provide emerging artists and designers with information that is beyond what is taught in the classroom. We are so excited to bring a panel of industry experts to share their entrepreneurial insight and practical experiences. PARK truly believes in developing Alberta talent, and the forum is a great platform for sharing industry information & resources, networking and collaboration.” says Jessie Li, Park Vice President.
Sessions will include art and fashionspecific topics, as well as broader topics that are valuable to any business owner in the creative industry. The information and insights offered, as well as workshop activities and takehome materials provided, will ensure that every forum attendee concludes the event feeling informed and thoroughly inspired to apply what they have learned within their own practices.

In addition, this event provides an opportunity to network with Calgary’s creative leaders and work together to further redefine artistic culture within the city’s landscape. Speakers will be announced at a later date.
